Thomas Ang
Thomas Ang is an undergraduate student in Bioengineering with a minor in Creative Fabrication at Northeastern University. His research interests include 3D printing and bioprinting, cell biology, and drug delivery, with a focus on leveraging advanced fabrication techniques to develop innovative platforms for biomedical research and therapeutic applications. He is passionate about combining engineering, biological science, and creative design to develop technologies that address complex challenges in healthcare.
Thomas’s work integrates principles of bioengineering, cell biology, and advanced manufacturing to explore how 3D fabrication technologies can be used to create biologically relevant structures and novel drug delivery systems. He is particularly interested in applying 3D printing and bioprinting approaches to develop engineered platforms that enable greater control over cellular environments and support the development of next-generation biomedical technologies. Through his research, he aims to bridge creative fabrication with biological engineering to advance tissue engineering and therapeutic applications. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Thomas enjoys rock climbing, sewing, coaching, and spending time outdoors.
