Maria Olano Arrunategui is an undergraduate student in Computer Engineering with research interests spanning bioelectronics, wearable and implantable sensors, RF-enabled health systems, and printed circuit board (PCB) design. She is passionate about applying principles of electronics, embedded systems, and hardware development to create innovative technologies that improve healthcare monitoring, diagnostics, and patient outcomes.

Originally from Lima, Peru, Maria is particularly interested in the development of next-generation biomedical devices that integrate sensing, wireless communication, and advanced electronic design. Through her work, she aims to bridge the fields of engineering and medicine by developing reliable, patient-centered technologies that enable more effective and accessible healthcare solutions.
