Jana Chan is a Research Assistant with a BS in Bioengineering and Biochemistry from Northeastern University. Her research interests include microfluidics, organ-on-a-chip technologies, soft bioelectronics, and wearable and implantable sensing systems. She is passionate about developing innovative biomedical platforms that can better model human physiology, advance disease research, and improve patient monitoring and care.

Drawing from her interdisciplinary training, Jana combines principles of engineering, biology, and device design to create technologies that bridge the gap between fundamental research and clinical application. She is particularly interested in developing next-generation bioelectronic and microphysiological systems that enable more accurate disease modeling and personalized healthcare solutions. Originally from Wellesley, Massachusetts, Jana enjoys jewelry making, exploring new restaurants, and running in her free time.
