Adriano Rasmussen
Adriano Rasmussen is an undergraduate student studying Applied Physics. His research interests include implantable and wearable electronics and soft bioelectronics, with a focus on developing flexible electronic technologies that can interface with biological systems. He is passionate about applying principles of physics, electronics, and engineering to create innovative biomedical devices for physiological monitoring and therapeutic applications.
Adriano’s work combines concepts from applied physics, materials science, and bioelectronics to explore the development of soft and conformable devices designed to interact with living tissues. He is particularly interested in implantable and wearable systems that can provide new capabilities for monitoring biological signals and supporting biomedical applications. Through his research, Adriano aims to contribute to the development of next-generation bioelectronic technologies that bridge physical science and medicine. Originally from Berlin, Connecticut, Adriano enjoys music, attending concerts, and watching science-fiction movies in his free time.
