Aarnav Jathanna is a Research Assistant with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Biotechnology from Ramaiah Institute of Technology. His research interests include nuclear lamins, molecular biology, and cell biology, with a focus on understanding the molecular and cellular mechanisms that regulate tissue function and disease progression. He is passionate about exploring how structural and regulatory components within cells influence biological processes and contribute to human health.

Aarnav’s work combines principles of molecular biology, cell biology, and mechanobiology to investigate the role of nuclear architecture in cellular behavior and function. Through his research, he aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the fundamental mechanisms that govern cell regulation and adaptation, ultimately supporting the development of innovative therapeutic strategies and biomedical technologies. Originally from Bengaluru, India, Aarnav enjoys following football—especially FC Barcelona—traveling, exploring new cuisines, learning about geography and history, and staying engaged with a variety of sports in his free time.
